The Formula Applet
-
- lets you create math or physics exercises on HTML pages using H5P.
- However, the corresponding H5P plugin is not published in the H5P hub.
- You can provide an expression as solution, and Formula Applet checks if your solution is right or wrong.
- Algebraic equivalent solutions are also accepted.
- Formula Applet is able to deal with physical units.
- Formula Applet is open source.
- FormulaApplet is written in JavaScript. These open source libraries are used: MathQuill, jQuery and Hammer.

- The solutions are given in each case, so you can try them quickly. Solutions can be copied with copy and paste.
- Development of the FormulaApplet was discontinued in 2024.

Physics Example
A voltage of
U=24\ \unit{V}
is applied to a resistor ofR=0,30\ \unit{M\Omega}
.What is the current I that flows through the resistor?
Solution:
80\unit{µA} = 0.080\unit{mA} = 8.0\cdot10^{-5}\unit{A}
